Yearbook Staffs Celebrate National Yearbook Week - As high school yearbook staffs begin to design pages and select the first
photos for this year
’s editions, advisers and staff members across Cy-Fair ISD took time to celebrate
the life-long value of their work during National Yearbook Week.
National Yearbook Week is observed by schools to acknowledge the important role
that
yearbooks play in narrating a school’s story, providing a portable and lasting way to connect students to each other
and their school.
“Through the commitment and effort of each person on every yearbook staff,
schools are provided with more than historical records of each year. A yearbook
staff brings back experiences as if they were the actual day of the event.
Through vivid words and photos, yesterday stays forever today in the yearbook.
We want to celebrate that with the staff and the school,
” said Margie Comstock, Jersey Village High School yearbook adviser.
