State of the Art Technology
North Cypress Medical Center
North Cypress Medical Center is a 92-bed acute care hospital located at Highway
290 and Huffmeister in Cypress, Texas. The hospital was founded by local
physicians who wanted to offer patients state-of-the-art medical technology in
a five star hotel-like atmosphere. North Cypress offers a Heart Center with
cardiac catheterization, open heart surgery, cardiac rehabilitation, and is an
accredited Chest Pain Center. The hospital provides the latest in cancer care
with radiation therapy, chemotherapy and support services. The Emergency Center
is open 24/7 with a Fast Track program for less urgent conditions. North
Cypress offers General Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, a Comprehensive Joint and
Spine Center, Sleep Center,
Women’s Center, Critical Care, Pediatrics, as well as Medical/ Surgical care. The
hospital will be adding 50 beds this summer, with a second Professional
Building and Parking Garage opening early fall. The Professional Building will
offer an outpatient surgery center, outpatient imaging center, a pain center,
additional physician offices and a retail pharmacy. The parking garage will
feature a sports medicine center and an upscale restaurant. With patients in
mind, the goal of North Cypress is to be the hospital of choice for the

New West Campus
Texas Children’s Hospital
Texas Children’s Hospital will soon be celebrating the first construction milestone of its new
West Campus, the first community children
’s hospital to be built in the greater Houston area. When completed, the new
facility will be among the nation
’s largest suburban pediatric hospitals and will serve the country’s fastest growing child populations, the area from Sugar Land to Bryan-College
Station. The area
’s pediatric population is projected to grow by 51 percent, reaching 400,000
within five years of the hospital
’s opening.
Located on 55 acres at the intersection of Interstate 10 and Barker Cypress,
Texas Children
’s Hospital West Campus is designed to incorporate the best practices in
pediatric treatment environments and to provide the special accommodations that
families need in a children
’s medical facility. Staffed and equipped exclusively to treat patients from
birth to 18 years of age, Texas Children
’s Hospital West Campus will provide both outpatient and inpatient services, and
offer the only dedicated pediatric emergency center in greater West Houston.
The outpatient clinic building and the inpatient facility are scheduled to open
