Furnishing Dreams with Helping Hands. Residents of Stillwater Village joined Darling Homes and MHI’s Plantation Homes to round up donations for Gracewood, a residential facility
for women and their families who are at risk of homelessness.
Both homebuilders within Stillwater Village have a legacy relationship with
HomeAID, a charity established in 2003 by the Greater Houston Builders
Association. Currently the parent company of Plantation Homes, MHI, is building
Gracewood
’s second facility, while Darling Homes is donating a complete kitchen package in
support of the organization
’s needs. Residents of Stillwater Village joined the builders’ efforts to make a difference through a community event by collecting items
needed to make the new Gracewood campus actually feel like a home with a heart.
