Langham Soccer Player Receives High Honor - Langham Creek High School junior soccer player Jade George was named to the 2010 Adidas/Houston Dynamo Elite XI team. This marked the second time in three years that a Lobos player received the honor, as Jacob Truitt made the team in 2007.
The honor is only given to 11 players in the entire greater Houston area, encompassing all of Region III and the three athletic districts from Houston in Region II.
“It is a great honor to be recognized as one of the top players in Houston by the Houston Dynamo and Adidas, ” George said. “This honor would not be possible without the support of my outstanding teammates and the Langham Creek soccer program. ”
George was recognized with the 10 other recipients during halftime of the Houston Dynamo ’s match against the Colorado Rapids.
George led Langham Creek in scoring and was named the District 15-5A Offensive MVP in 2009. He is currently an All-Region and All-State nominee.
