Houston’s Center Stage Theater will present Annie from Feb. 12-21 at The Berry Center.

Tri-county quilt guild hosts
first quilt show, feb. 12-13
”Treasurers of the Heart,” the Tri-County Quilt Guild’s first quilt show, will be held at Fairfield Baptist Church in Cypress on Feb.
12-13.
The featured artist for the show is Tom Russell, guild member and quilter,
teacher and local celebrity of HGTV
’s Simply Quilts. A judged show with special exhibits, Treasures of the Heart
will feature a Merchants Mall, Tin Can Raffles, Quilt Appraisals, Tea Room,
Guild Cookbook and more. This year
’s donation quilt is a Victorian crazy quilt called “Victorian Elegance.” The drawing will take place at the show. Tickets are available for purchase
from guild members and at the show.

cy-fair isd Annual Food Tasting, feb. 16
The Cy-Fair ISD Food Service Department will hold its Annual Food Tasting on
Tuesday, Feb. 16, from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at the Berry Center, 8877 Barker Cypress
Road.
Students, parents, faculty and friends are invited to enjoy a variety of foods
made by potential district vendors and provide input on the new products
available for school lunch and breakfast.
Prizes will also be awarded during the event. For additional information, call

PTO Vendor Fair, Feb. 23
The Cy-Fair ISD Parent/Teacher Organization Presidents Council Fundraising
Vendor Fair will be held on Feb. 23 from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Berry
Center. All district-approved fundraising vendors have been invited to display
their products. Vendors are available to assist school staff, booster clubs,
school clubs, sports associations, school supply chairmen, school spirit
chairmen, Scout groups, church groups and day care centers.
Open to the public, the vendor fair is an opportunity to preview many
fundraising options and speak directly with company representatives.

cy-fair home and garden show, feb. 27-28
The third annual Cy-Fair Home and Garden Show is scheduled for Feb. 27-28 at the Berry Center, 8877 Barker Cypress Road. The show will feature an exciting lineup of industry-expert speakers and more than
200 vendors, all showcasing new products and the latest ideas to spruce up your
home
’s indoor and outdoor spaces.
This year’s show will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.; and Sunday from 10 a.m.-6
p.m.The show will feature well-known speakers such as Michael Garfield
“The High-Tech Texan”; Randy Lemmon, host of KTRH 740’s GardenLine show; and Brenda Beust Smith “The Lazy Gardener” and Houston Chronicle blogger.
Tickets are $9 for adults, $7 for seniors and free for children under 16.
